The Scottish Parliament probably banned rainbow lanyards to reduce provocation and expulsion of women wearing scarves in unacceptable suffragette colours, to calm down the local TERF wars. (There is a lovely "Suffragette Tartan" first seen as a scarf worn by Joanna Cherry MP: I tracked it down with these speculative Google search terms, and found it as a commercially named Suffragette Tartan shawl too -- in the softest lambswool).
And the Scots fire brigade union really believes that no-one chooses to be "trans"? "Born that way" is such a convenient but idiotic evasion of a glaringly cultural phenomenon: starting with regressive 1950s sex role stereotypes that trans indoctrination absolutely could not do without.
When the BSL (Scotland) Bill was going through Holyrood, we asked if staff could wear a lanyard in deafscotland tartan, in support of the Bill and were told no, as it would be seen as making a political statement! Having access to services and information in your own language is a basic human right, the basis for the Bill. Not a political campaign. And yet, the rainbow and trans lanyards appeared as if by magic. We complained that this is political and if they were wearing lanyards for one group, they should also be wearing lanyards for all other groups, disabled people was the example we gave. But we were told, they would be weighed down by lanyards...The answer at that point should have been, they will wear lanyards with the Scottish flag only...
The recently fired lesbian Chief of the Los Angeles fire department (LAFD) had indicated, as the number one priority on the LAFD website Diversity, Equity & Inclusion programs — NOT FIGHTING FIRES! It beggars belief. Perhaps if she’d been focused on what her job was actually about, the recent LA fires would not have been so devastating? And maybe fire hydrants would have pumped water to fight fires rather than running dry?
Well, the useless Mayor of LA Karen Bass had to serve up a scapegoat, and Kristin Crowley was the perfect candidate. Thankfully, Crowley lost an appeal to the City Council last month to be reinstated. The incompetence on display in Los Angeles around all aspects of managing the fires and its aftermath has beggared belief.
All three emergency services (ambulance less so than the other two) seem to have a deliberate policy of "You forced us to include women, and so we're going to make you suffer for it".
Isn't asking for polyamourous people to be included in the EA 2010, simply a cheater's charter? If I want to be polyamourous (I don't and probably want to be single for the rest of my life now I am a widow!), where does it say I can't be if several partners are happy about that? If the man/woman you decide to set up home with wants monogamy and you don't, then leave and set up on your own or with your throuple. What's to stop you? They have all lost their minds... The SFRS need to clamp down on this nonsense. The public want people go do their job to the best of their ability and leave this cr*p at home. They are paid to do a job, not be political at work!
Please tell me this is an April Fool’s joke!
Life in general feels like an April Fool's joke atm.

Polyamorous, previously known as nymphomania, satyramia, sex-addicted. What’s new?
Sex isn't Love just ask men like Pierre-Alain Cottineau.

Were those the reasons she was fired?

Why, thank you! Please feel free to use it wherever it seems appropriate.
And WANKERS are WANKERS…
Why am I not surprised!! What an utter egg mayonnaise shit show!
Nothing from the Guardian on this …https://www.nationalreview.com/news/female-athletes-lost-almost-900-medals-to-trans-identifying-men-worldwide-u-n-report-finds/amp/
