Well it seems to me that all the political leadership across the board, regardless of flavor or country, supports the sex industry either overtly or covertly. In the west the entire media industry grooms young girls and to some degree young boys also to become sex toys for men. And yes the left owns most of the media which is sexualizing our youth at earlier and earlier ages; but the right does the same shit, just more secretly. Is it any wonder that thousands of girls are now convinced they are in the wrong body and want to grow beards and chop off their own breasts? I don't see how changing the laws is going to change this issue at the root of the problem. It will help of course to change laws, but it won't really fix it. I personally believe that giving girls direct and fully supported access to intensive self defense training across the board would help alot with many of these problems of male expoitation and violence. A woman who has been habituated to and given the physical skills to fight back is not going to put up with this shit. Colleges in the US years ago tried to give entering freshmen girls training in basic self-defense tips to keep them safe on campus and the progressive left screamed sexism. They said that the boys should be trained instead. While I agreee in theory, that is just not the reality we face. I can guarantee that if every woman that a man tried to sexually use or abuse fought back, that would train the boys and men pretty damn fast in the behavior we wanted from them. Maybe it is my ancestral tribal roots talking here, but this seems to me a women's issue that needs to be dealt with directly on the ground by women themselves. The governement offers limited protection even in the best of times and this is most certainly not the best of times.

I 100% agree that self defence training is a good idea for girls. It is not victim blaming to advise girls to be alert to danger and to give them the ability to defend themselves effectively. If society won't protect women it's all we can do.

it's so profoundly depressing. my 21 year old daughter had a female friend encouraging her to join a sugar daddy website so she could prostitute herself for extra income. fortunately she asked me what i thought about it and didn't do it. but the fact that she even considered it blew my mind. it's all just so sad. so bad. and so wounding for women.
