The annual conference of the Clinical Advisory Network on Sex and Gender (CAN-SG) was picketed by deranged lunatics who physically assaulted Michael Kerr with a metal pole.
Aggressive men intimidating and bullying anyone who doesn’t subscribe to their beliefs/ claims. Nothing new in that- the real shocker is how much our governments have rolled out the red carpet to these people!
I'm not at all trying to be nasty if I ask whether these people are receiving the psychiatric care that they sound as though they need? Unfortunately there still remains a stigma around this. Talk of erasure of their existence suggests this need. I don't think Michael Kerr is trying to erase people who are pleased that they re-registered their gender.
So I would hesitate to use Julie's language of 'lunatics'. I'd call it psychiatric anxiety, something that needs psychiatric care. If there's going to be a trial around this attack on Michael Kerr there may be a chance to pursue this further? Ian
