Bravo Julie — I think at least lesbian feminists have woken up to the utter idiocy, nonsense and misogyny of the transgender movement and are resisting the undermining of our hard won places in the universe. Lesbians were always and continue to be the real revolutionaries!

It’s still incomprehensible that a person with a penis can officially be considered a woman.

Julie Bindel-you are amazing! I love your courage, integrity, sense of humour and clear-sightedness. I have recently been enjoying your podcasts SO much .

I think and hope that the tide is turning. We are delighted for Jo phoenix and her recent victory. But it is weird how so many people do NOT see the clash between women’s rights and gender ideology. The young women are all totally ‘captured’. My teenaged daughter finds it difficult to talk to me about this issue.

Thank you for your brilliance Queen Julie!

Thanks for this brief history of TQ+ activism. The dates of transactivist moves against women are pretty similar, although I think Canada gets the gong. The late 90s in Australia saw similar moves and by 2000 I was ostracised by many in the Women’s Circus in Melbourne which was originally set up to work with women who had been sexually assaulted. All the same moves were followed, as if there were a trans activist manual. We now have self-ID laws in several states with more moves coming up in New South Wales. Thank you for your courage and your writing and standing up to the Australian TQ+ mob when you visited here in 2018.

Julie Bindle, thank you for fighting for women. I really appreciate and I really appreciate knowing that some people now consider men to be women. This is very helpful because my mom is old and I want her to get help from a woman if she needs intimate care (help washing, help charging her briefs, help cleaning up after an accident, etc.). I also know she does not want care from a man but she tends to be resigned and unwilling to fight for herself. Basically, what I am saying is thank you for warning me about the dangers to my mother and fighting for women who cannot fight for themselves. You really are doing great work and you never deserved the abuse, name calling, and threats you have been getting.

Yes ditto to the comments above Julie. I’m also in Australia and have been gaining so much from your writing and podcasts for some time now. Your bravery and persistence in the face of so much violent reaction, bald faced lies and intimidation of others to bring you down are an inspiration to me. I appreciate this brief history which helps me piece some things together and to understand just how long you have had to battle this particular version of misogyny and lesbophopia, on top of the earlier and ongoing versions. Thank you 🙏
