A wonderful way to usher out this sorry month. Here in NYC, major thunderstorms are predicted today, though unfortunately perhaps not in time to wash out this year’s sorry spectacle. As it happens, this past Thursday I and mine were down at Sheridan Square visiting 2 lesbian friends, one of whom has lived right above the Stonewall Inn for decades. The square was festooned with pride and “progress” flags, the chief honoree noted seemed to be “Marsha”, with only a small photo of Stormé well at the back. Tourists abounded, mostly straight, so far as I could tell. The sidewalks were barricaded so that it was necessary to walk single file, with huge tents filling the block, as Biden was coming to town (this past Friday) to dedicate the Stonewall Inn as a National Monument, and Elton John was to give a concert, all at this tiny little square. We could not wait to get out of there, and our friends are fleeing, too, until this travesty is well over.
I loathe it! All those ghastly “progress” flags and stickers on businesses’ doors and windows and websites. Straight people wearing Pride T-shirts and employees forced to wear Pride lanyards. Thank goodness it’s nearly July. There’s nothing remotely similar happens to honour and promote other groups of people like people of colour or disabled people. It’s all a great big meaningless commercial con.
The point of Pride used to be showing the world that LGB people deserved to be treated like human beings, not punished for their sexual orientation. There is no point to what passes for Pride these days. It's a showcase of perversions.
Brilliant interview. I have so much admiration for you. It’s a relief from so much nonsense to hear such common sense and clarity. Thank you.
Thank you both for the wit and comic relief. " Unbreakable Wifi code" 😉

I need more Julie x Douglas in my life. The two of them together give me joy.
Absolutely brilliant (my favorite British word)!
So what happens to women if Labor wins in the UK? It sounds that the trans cult is winning.
