I live in the complete opposite reality as you Julie. I can’t stand modern life noise and am quite sensitive to it, I hardly talk and am quite uncomfortable having conversations. I hardly ever listen to music and only watch tv because my partner watches at night. I love to sit in silence and when I notice complete silence outside I stop and listen because complete silence is rare. I loathe small talk, when at dinner parties I stand listening to others and am grateful for the interesting conversations but rarely add anything back. I have a tiny circle of friends and I mean tiny. But I do love to see people I know in town in my community and always say hello, wave or give people hugs. I’m outgoing in that way but once people start talking to me I get hot flashes and start stumbling on words. My partner tries to push me out into the world when I get invited to gatherings but my happy place is on my 80 acres surrounded by wild land, hanging with my dogs and listening to nature which keeps me sane in this noisy world.
Love Julie's humor.
Good one!
2005? It doesn’t seem as though Skype, Wifi, Netflix, YouTube, Farage have all been around for twenty years already!

Thanks for sharing your story Julie.
Now you’re a bit more grown up, can you accommodate fennel, spinach or pesto? Or are you still mourning the demise of ‘Spud-u-like’?
Once this experiment reaches its 20th anniversary, are you gonna have a crack at it again? ^^
