Love it when Julie shares her platform and engages with those fighting for free speech and women's sex-based rights in NA and throughput the larger anglosphere.

Good for Amy! So now you can't say who you like? Unlike 'some' of these men that identify as trans 'women', JK Rowling is a hardworking, creative woman and not a bully or a criminal. So why wouldn't she love a talented writer and women's rights activist who has continued to defend women despite huge misogyny by some trans identified men? That is courage and bravery well worth admiring.

Bravo, Amy -- you ARE fighting this for all of us! -- and much gratitude, Julie, for your continuing work in the resistance, including getting the word out about cases like Amy's. Battle on, Sisters! Our numbers are growing.

Thank you for your interview. Are the courts the only recourse? It seems so, but it also seems that if judges and lawyers and law makers are stacked against reality and science, then the outcome will be frightening.

Julie, you say that it’s men on the left and women who hate feminism who are vocal supporters of the trans community. Thing is, and disturbingly so, I know too many women who I would describe as progressive leftists who are also pro-trans rights. They would describe themselves as radical feminists. In my area, they are probably the most vocal.

I see the same thing, Anthony, among former allies -- lesbians -- who fought with me for gay rights in the '90s. Now, they seem either unconcerned about trans rights (many are simply uninformed beyond the supposed goodness of "inclusion"), or actively support gender ideology. It's hard to make sense of, though I think what used to be "progressive" is now "woke," which is highly doctrinaire: You hew rigidly to certain predictable positions if you drink the Kool-Aid. Period.

But I would love to hear what sense Julie and others with any insight make of this. Gender ideology is just so misogynistic and homophobic; personally, I can't manage the contortions necessary to explain why any feminist and/or lesbian would support it.

You can't make people accept lesbians and gays. There's still pretty large prejudice against us. I've heard butch lesbians are among the most disliked group in society (though they may be tied with old women). So that leads to self-hatred. Butch lesbians are refashioning themselves as men in huge numbers. And being encouraged to do so. A young lesbian in Calgary told me there are no butch lesbians left in that city -- they've all "transitioned" into "men."

I've not seen nor heard of older lesbians "transitioning." From all I've read, "transitioners" skew young, and are under the influence of social contagion, especially periadolescent ROGD girls who haven't matured enough to even know if they're gay, and, if so, what variety.
