My young American daughters are seeing all kinds of extremely creepy stuff. My now 13 yo daughter who has suffered terribly in the aftermath of pandemic lockdown (eating disorder, for one), revealed to me that she was first exposed to not age-appropriate sexual content from a period tracking app we’d let her get 💔. I had no idea. It’s worsening now even with ads on the internet. I also have a 16 yo daughter. Parents are having a hell of a time and the American public schools’ “sex ed” content is not helping. It legitimately discusses group sex and that there can be “dozens of genders!” amongst other dubious content (for which the kids must earn a grade) in my 7th grader’s curriculum in Maryland. What??
