Scarlet Blake and the case of media cowardice and confusion
Blake is a bloke, and a sadistic, dangerous one at that
Scarlet Blake court case
The headlines about the horrific, deranged crimes of Scarlet Blake would have shocked and appalled any decent human being. Blake had filmed himself killing, skinning and dissecting a neighbour’s cat before putting the poor, defenceless animal in a blender. Four months later he murdered a man he picked up as a sexual partner. Yet most newspapers and media outlets referred to the sadistic murderer as a ‘woman’. Why?
Blake is a trans-identified male, and claims to be female, but many reporters treated this fact as irrelevant. Headlines and reports alike are heaving with ‘her’ pronouns. The Independent’s headline read “Scarlet Blake livestreamed herself dissecting a cat…” and in the report, “during her evidence, she claimed she had a fragmented personality, which included being a cat, and meow at the jury to show how she would interact with friends.” No fewer than four references to “she” in that short extract.
Incidentally, figures from prosecutions for animal cruelty show that men are almost twice as likely to harm animals than women, just as they are more likely to commit sex offences and other acts of harm against a person.
The Guardian (which sees itself as an ally of transgender people and regularly promotes transactivism) eventually added the detail that Blake is transgender only after being flooded with complaints from readers as well as some of its staff. The writer Louise Tickle sent a strongly worded open letter to the editor, Katharine Viner. Tickle, who has freelanced for the Guardian for more than 20 years, is refusing to write for the paper until it stops referring to crimes committed by men as by ‘women’.
One of the 9m 200 thousand articles about gender identify in the Guardian
Men and women have very different patterns of criminality; men have a higher tendency to commit sexual crimes. The difference between the two sexes is stark, as campaigners against rape and domestic violence are well aware. The risk that male people can pose to others is not reduced because a man identifies as a woman.
But the courts as well as much of the media have been captured by trans ideology. Guidance for judges tells them to “respect” the gender identity of those who appear in court. This guidance features in the Equal Treatment Bench Book, and says: “It should be possible to respect a person’s gender identity and their present name for nearly all court and tribunal purposes, regardless of whether they have obtained legal recognition of their gender by way of a Gender Recognition Certificate.”
In response to this circus, JK Rowling tweeted, “I'm so sick of this shit. This is not a woman. These are #NotOurCrimes”.
How has it happened that most mainstream media outlets appear to be using ‘preferred pronouns’ for trans identified men, even in cases of classic male violence towards women? Last month, the BBC’s Executive Complaints Unit upheld a complaint against radio 4 Today Programme presenter Justin Webb for saying on air “trans women, in other words males”. This was in relation to a story about new International Chess Federation guidelines, but the ruling suggests this would be applied in all cases of describing trans-identified males.

The ECU said that Webb’s comment broke the corporation’s impartiality rules. It said that the case would be “discussed with Justin Webb and the Today team”.
The Office for National Statistics (ONS) became similarly embroiled in controversy when it was revealed that guidance to respondents to the 2021 England and Wales census would be allowed to answer the sex question (Are you male or female?) in terms of gender identity rather than their biological sex. Statistics on employment, health, crime and education have all been affected by this trend of referring to males as female.
Freedom of information requests have revealed that a number of police forces in England now record crimes by male suspects as committed by women. Why? Because the perpetrator’s demand it! I have interviewed women who have been compelled to refer to their rapist as ‘she’ in court – a travesty of justice.
Louise Tickle’s open letter pointed out that the opening words of the Guardian’s piece were "A woman who livestreamed herself.” She went on to state that “Men carry out 90% of all homicides. Violence against women and girls is overwhelmingly perpetrated by men. Violence against men, as in the murder described in this article, is also overwhelmingly perpetrated by men. Sexual crimes against women and men are also primarily perpetrated by men. It is hugely disrespectful of all victims of male violence to write an article that so wrongly describes the perpetrator of their attack – in this case, the person who ended the victim’s life. It was a man who committed this murder. Not a woman.”
Blake also occasionally identified as a cat. Why is the press not respecting his feline identity and pronouns?
JK Rowing
JK Rowling speaks for me, and countless other men and women when she says she is “sick of” seeing women taking the rap for violent men’s crimes and actions. “Crime statistics are rendered useless if violent and sexual attacks committed by men are recorded as female crimes,” she wrote on X. “Activists are already clamouring for this sadistic killer to be incarcerated in a women's prison”, and “Ideologically-driven misinformation is not journalism.” Here, here.
Last week, 'He's a MAN' was trending on X for hours, as increasing numbers realised that the majority of media was lying to them about Scarlet Blake. I am not the only one sick and tired of their distortions, and of the massive influence of trans lobbyists. It is time for a public revolt.
The trouble is Judges are being guided in part by the Equal Treatment Bench Book (ETBB) which was initially created to give Judges guidance on how to treat protected characteristics eg someone with a specific disability who might act in a way that might appear rude and agitated in their tone of voice, in the court process, but is actually a sign of stress and anxiety and a symptom of their specific disability. The Judges would take that into account and not penalise the individual before them eg in their ruling.
However, the added Trans section has been written by Trans activists and Trans Judges (because AGP is a very middle-class paraphilia for the most part). So they set the narrative and provide the guidance to other Judges who have no clue about this trans stuff. Like everything else about this Trans situation, it has been taken to the extremes and to another level that no-one could have ever envisaged. Scarlett Blake is but one of many examples.
This is what happens when you have a ‘live and let live’ society. The boundaries are forever being pushed. Paraphilias should have been legally restricted to private activity and not allowed to be forced on the general public. Men should never have been allowed to call themselves ‘women’ and vice versa or to change their bodies to further pursue this psychologically deviant and unnatural fantasy via self ID and frankensteinesque medicalisation, or not. This is the result.
thank you. this is a massive issue here in new zealand too. with media, courts and government statistics departments treating crimes committed by men as women's if the man is in his lady feelings. the ramifications of these government sanctioned lies in terms of shaping public attitudes, policy making and resource allocation will be disastrous.
