It is obvious, but our society is heaving with misogyny, and some of the people who've worked on and honed theirs have flooded Stonewall and probably all LGBT organisations. They are saturated with T, or at least those who claim it as their identity. Plain old heterosexual men who don't like women, and like women who reject them as sexual partners even less.

Gender identity ideology is overwhelmingly the creation of men like this. It's a reimagining and redefining of womanhood and the boundaries of womanhood that excludes women. And it's been enthusiastically accepted by supposedly liberal, left wing men, like Owen Jones, for example, who use the TWAW mantra to oppress and bully women. Depicting those who challenge their bullshit orthodoxy as bigots. It has become a protected legitimisation of their hated of women,.

Gender Identity Ideology is overwhelmingly the creation of men???

You might want to update your history books and read some Judith Butler or Eve Kokovsky Sedgewick.

It cant be disowned just because it comes back to bite.

Identity politics at its core always leads to conflict that is impossible to resolve.

It is only seen as problematic when one is on the receiving end.

I did say overwhelmingly not exclusively, though you mention two very standout figures. I agree with your point about identity politics leading to conflict that's impossible to resolve. It's supposed to, there is mostly consistency.

I think so many have bought into the idea that gender is innate while sex is "assigned" (assigned on the basis of what?) instead of the other way around. But even when presented with the cogent argument that gender roles and expectations are assigned on the basis of sex in order to implement and maintain the domination of males and the subordination of females, some will still deny this due to their own misogyny/internalized misogyny. One of the most basic rules of oppression and abuse is that it mustn't be recognized or discussed.

The involvement of the police in marginalising and intimidating lesbians is nothing new, sadly, and yet most people don't seem to recognise the same old crap when it's put into a different bucket? It's maddening that even other lesbians can be so (wilfully?) dense, or perhaps just so indoctrinated and self-hating.
