Julie, I think you would find that most Socialist Feminists, and certainly those centrally involved with WPUK would absolutely share with you about the importance of VAWG, your views on porn, prostitution and surrogacy. You only have to peruse the blogs and statements published on WPUK pages to see that Socialist feminists have moved near to the radical feminism of your youth and I think that radical feminists have made a similar move. But there were always those of us in those divisive days of the 70s and 80s who were closer to the’ other side’ of feminism than was recognised.
As a poor blighter I'd like to thank you both for that fantastic conversation - gave me a lot to think about!
