Hi Julie,

Would it I wonder be of any use to say that the women forced into prostitution are examples of intersectionality at work? So virtually no woman who could afford to live without this way of surviving would choose it. And usually a child abused person, not necessarily sexually, but psychologically at least.

So woman and poorest and child abused; so as i say, intersectionality at work.

Secondly the sheer abstraction of the support for prostitution ' eg sex work is work, completely abstracted from the person on the receiving end of it.

I don't know if this would do anything; perhaps we should modify an old expression which use dto be that you could judge the worth of a nation by how it treated its jews TO judge a nation by how it treats its prostitites?

Might this do something to the Kenneth Roth's and the Owen Jones's of this world?
