Listening to Martina was wonderful but when athletes like Megan Rapinoe and Brittney Griner accept the absurdity that 'trans-women are women' I shake my head in disbelief.
It is painful and disheartening to realize that in the 21st century women's rights are under threat as much in very liberal countries as in right-leaning states and theocracies worldwide.
Though conservative voices in the Anglosphere and Europe have helped amplify our cries for our sex-based rights we will need MANY more liberals, and especially young women, to wake from their stupor and lead us out of this horrible darkness.
Martina, the drivers of the 'trans' agenda/movement are male, heterosexual, cross-dresser, sexual fetishists, autogynephiles/transvestic fetishists. These are the men calling themselves lesbian and intruding on women's lives and spaces and supplanting all of women's rights and opportunities. It is not about civil rights, it is about male fetishes and fetishes are not a protected class. Historically women were not denied rights b/c they 'identified' as women but b/c they were women.
Transmen are indeed attempting to encroach on Gay men's spaces - they call themselves "transf*gs" and to them we're "cisf*gs" - but I don't think there's as much pushback. As Martina noted, a lot of Gay men are all in with this gender identity stuff. But you know, I think maybe too much energy is being spent railing against trans-identified males (many if not most of whom I'm convinced are mentally ill). IMO, the real enemies of women are male-run institutions like sports organizations who open the door. Does anyone REALLY think they believe "Transwomen are women"? Aren't they just using gender supremacy as a vehicle to express the contempt they've always had for things like women's sports?

The 'handmaidens' of today were Mary Daly's 'token torturers' decades ago. I'm stunned by the insistence of intelligent women that transwomen are women and do not affect women's rights and safety. Many women have absorbed the stereotypical 'feminine' conditioning to 'be kind' and people please so deeply that they are blind to what is happening before their eyes. It's disturbing.
