JKR says she cares little for her legacy but without doubt for many her defence of women’s rights and dignity will supersede her writing accomplishments.
Also spending more time here. Currently reading Hannah Barnes book while listening to the JKR podcast. I am also obsessed with ‘Gender through a wider lense’ podcast. It’s brilliant. I am tentatively having conversations with other liberals about the trans issue and I’m learning that most liberals see being trans like being gay and therefore the only right thing to do is support and affirm.
The JKR podcast is just super! The third episode that explains how a very small group on the internet gained massive exposure was really eye-opening. The vexing question of how trans people, a minuscule segment of the population, could exercise such profound influence on our civic institutions seems to get partially answered in this episode.

Me too. I have left Twitter for good. It’s toxic for mental health.

Yes, i like how they are putting the whole interview in context of what was happening culturally. I admire her so much. She is a feminist Shero.
Hi... looking forward to hearing from everyone here as I no longer inhabit other social media.
