Brilliant 👏 Well done Julie. Yet again, when a light is shone, it all crumbles.

Wow. That is emphatic. The independent review of the Council's EDI processes is a huge win. 💪🙏👌

Congratulations Julie! Amazing news. The ruling is absolutely humiliating for NCC isn't it? I really hope that when the local council elections come around the women of Nottingham will remember the names of the councillors who denied them their rights. I hope the champagne is on ice. You have earned it. Thank you.

Very pleased to read this. Shame that we keep having to resort to the courts to get organisations to adhere to the law.

Congratulations Julie, for standing up for biological women everywhere and for not being cancelled. This needs to have ramifications across the country, as biological women will not be silenced for holding feminist views, #WomenWontWheesht

Excellent news!

But who will Nottingham City Council employ to review their 'EDI strategy, policy and procedures'? I know they 'welcome' suggestions from Julie but they could employ whoever they want.

I've looked at the equality monitoring forms of quite a few 'EDI' organisations and I've yet to find one that isn't captured or at least who understands the Equality Act:
