What a treat this was. Not only the Lesbian Project Podcast, but this wonderful interview with the astonishing and redoubtable Harriet. I love everything about this book...from the very clever title, Sister in Law, to the way Harriet tells these stories. The detail and complexity of these cases is expressed in a very readable and engaging way. I bought the book in hardback because I love the heft of it, and the cover, but I swap between reading it and listening in Audible, so that's two income streams for you, Harriet...and very well worth it. It's both fascinating and enlightening to read these stories that most of us are familiar with and it was lovely to hear the two of you together. Thank you, sisters, and I highly recommend the book.

Thanks for this.

We have similar stories to tell in Australia.

I purchased a Kindle copy but also got a free Audible version.

I worked in women's refuges 40 years ago. The situation is much worse now. Our legal and policing systems have never been fit for purpose.

I am sending copies of reviews of this book to our politicians and legislators.

Harriet crouched down on left of banner...closest to it ...Julie crouched down on right of banner...again closest to it. Just a calculated guess!
