If activists succeed in normalising paedophilia and getting it recognised as another sexual orientation how long will it be before the claim that trying to treat paedophilia is conversion therapy. In those jurisdictions that have made conversion therapy illegal could it become illegal to try to “cure” paedophilia.
If one were to want to recruit a number of children into locked, permanent pre-pubescence along with age-legal sex access for pedophiles, it would be hard to find any other method than grooming the very adults responsible for children with pseudoscience into offering children into the trans medical establishment.

A reality found in a variety of research is that pedophilia emerges in childhood and cannot be altered, similarly to the fact that heterosexuality cannot be changed. It is one of the paraphilias (like zoophilia) where the target cannot give consent, and therefore cannot be acted upon. It’s similar to an orientation only in that it can’t be halted. This my given knowledge from reading, and quite separate from trans.
But I never regarded the possibility that transsexualism could be congruent with pedophilia... until the 2000’s
I then become curious about trans obsession with child genitals, a recent phenomenon. It became only obvious to me what was going on in this area in the early 2000’s after conversation with the brilliant computer scientist and notorious anti-medical trans activist Lynn Conway who spoke at great length about how important it was to have puberty suppression.
While great with semiconductors, Conway is not a biologist and subject to the common smart person’s logical fallacy in reasoning - “ultracrepidarianism” ( wonderful word ) - or pontificating on subjects one doesn’t understand, thinking being smart overcomes that little problem. Puberty suppression blocks adulthood, not just sexual development. Puberty suppression is permanent, not “a pause”. It therefore creates permanently childlike - emotionally, sexually, and physically - victims.
In her discussion of trans surgery on her website ( http://ai.eecs.umich.edu/people/conway/TS/SRSlink.html ) she rhapsodizes about the beauty of the remaining genital tissue of fully emasculated Indian Hijira boys. I think it’s primarily because they look like the genitals of pre-teen or teen girls. I’m a gay man, and not an expert on the mons veneris, but last time I checked (Brazilian waxes and “Gillette Grooming” aside) that region of adult women isn’t usually totally hairless. As Xaviera Hollander put it, “it’s a tangle.”
Conway writes : ‘Hijra genitalia and pelvic regions look very "girly", and many men in India greatly enjoy lovemaking with them.’ Conway clearly knows Indian men that I don’t.

I’ve studied written gay pornography for decades - it modulated fantasies in parallel with political and social aspirations of gay men over the decades, as status drastically changed from the 50’s to the 2020’s. Trans written pornography that I’ve come across has begun to echo the trope of the child (usually male) transed by an evil mother or other groups of people into perpetual childhood as an object of permanent sexual access.
