Julie I don’t know if you see these comments, but in any event I’ve got to tell you I think you’re bloody wonderful. You’ve been working for decades to help women and girls and I can’t thank you enough. You were almost a lone voice for so long but you never gave up. This series and Sharon’s are a testament to the strength and resilience of women. And the undying love they have for their murdered family members. Thanks to you 000s more of us know about Ann and Nikki.

What a wonderful, if disturbing listen. It would be good to think that the police attitude to women had been transformed, but misogyny is still rife in the force. Well done to you Julie, and to Joanne.
