This ideology never misses an opportunity to progress does it? I hadn't thought of this - academic institutions being run purely as businesses and pandering to their customers. This is a feeble kind of scholarship if the students are directing the lectures. What about the poor students who do not have this agenda or power and just want to learn? Another negative consequence of the removal of the right to a free education. Some students feel they can make these demands because they are paying for the product, and it seems they can if the institutions are capitulating. Thank you both for this interview. And I think you have hit on a really important point there, in that it is denying other students opportunities for growth, critical thought and debate.
