Our favourite narcissist is back on Twitter, lecturing everyone about how terrible and transphobic we feminists are, and claiming that she, or rather they/them has suffered, and that her career has dive bombed because she stands up for the rights of trans people. Who knew that trans allies get punished, lose their jobs, have their reputations trashed, and suffer dire consequences? I thought this happened to those of us on the other side of the debate, but silly me.
A couple of years ago, I got rather cross when I saw that the gender goblin had posted the following:
“What if more people are identifying as queer, because more people *are* queer?”
I decided to respond, by way of a thread, captured for ease here by the lovely Ophelia Benson on her blog Butterflies and Wheels. Thank you Ophelia for your public service.
I’ve been an out lesbian since my teens, and, like the vast majority of lesbians and gay men, have suffered discrimination, abuse, and actual physical violence. I will not have a blue fringed attention seeker colonising our identity and experiences. Anyway, sit back, make yourself comfortable, and have a read. Bye for now. X

Brilliant stuff! We LGB are bloodied, betrayed and truly exhausted from the whole 'effin thing! But, of course we fight on - over my dead, adult, human, female, lesbian, body, will I ever consider a trans woman a woman. Thanks JB, we're still here too! X
Brilliant Julie. The harm that so called queer allies like Penny have caused the LGB community is devastating. LP’s Holier than Thou attitude in her smug victim like tweets is grandiose and devoid of reality as Ophelia Benson’s blog Butterflies and Wheels demonstrates.
