In my project collecting data on the experiences of trans widows, women who divorced or left a suddenly demanding, crossdressing husband, the hazy grey area of consent/non-consent becomes larger and more nebulous. These psychiatrists who can't find the harm in "lonely" men exposing themselves to random schoolgirls on a path in the park also can't find anything wrong with a man demanding complete control, effecting a radical change in previously mutually satisfying intimacy. Coercive control of others during these ritual behaviors is the operative scheme, and equally ignored by law enforcement, even when it escalated to rape. Get loud, very loud, and get away, as far as possible. "They just want to pee," is a falsehood.

Anger arising in me reading this. If I knew then (aged 9) what I know now (at 65) it’s probably a good thing I wasn’t armed. Minor fun my arse. 56 years of staying on high alert.
